Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill
To take advantage of the Colosseum Ticket Skip-the-Line, go to the appointed meeting point and join the group (Arch of Constantine on the Colosseum side). Our staff will be happy to welcome you and accompany you inside the monument. It will also provide you with all the information you need to be able to carry out the visit in the best way. So what does your self-guided tour include? There are only two stages to be undertaken: first, the entrance to the Colosseum, where you can take advantage of the first level with a panoramic terrace and the museum included therein; secondly, a visit, for anyone who wants to, inside the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum, included in the same Colosseum Ticket Skip-the-Line used before.
Then, buy a Colosseum Skip the Line Ticket and visit it in total autonomy. Observe the arena floor Colosseum from above, where gladiators once fought, and the Colosseum underground, a labyrinth of cells and animal cages.
With the Colosseum Ticket Skip-the-Line avoid the long queues. After the entry procedures and security checks, wait for your guide to arrange a meeting point with you and the group and a set time, about an hour, to meet you again and enter the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum together. All this guaranteeing, with an added value, an extra accompaniment for continuous assistance for each of you. Inside the Palatine Hill, your guide will be happy to show you the path to take for a more accurate visit of the hill and the Roman Forum, where temples, arches, columns and shiny marble are just waiting for you!
If you wish to continue your visit inside the Colosseum beyond the time set by your companion, you can do so in complete tranquility, but lose the daily entrance.

A Perfect Way to Explore the Colosseum on Your Own Terms
I recently took the Colosseo Self-Guided Tour through Ancient and Recent Agency, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. As someone who loves exploring at my own pace, this tour was absolutely perfect.
From the moment I booked, everything was straightforward and easy to navigate. The instructions I received were clear, and the audio guide was intuitive. It was really nice to be able to move through the Colosseum at my own pace, taking time to really appreciate the architecture and the fascinating history behind every corner.
The guide itself was packed with interesting details. I learned so much about the Colosseum that I would have missed on a typical group tour. The way it’s structured made me feel like I was uncovering secrets of the ancient arena on my own, but with the knowledge and context to truly understand it.
What really stood out to me was how well-organized the whole thing was. Even though I was on my own, I never felt lost or unsure of what to do next. Plus, I was able to take my time without being rushed, which made it a much more enjoyable experience than any group tour I’ve been on.
I would definitely recommend the Colosseo Self-Guided Tour to anyone visiting Rome. It’s the ideal mix of independence, education, and flexibility. Huge thanks to Ancient and Recent Agency for making this such a smooth and memorable experience!

Incredible Self-Guided Tour of the Colosseum with Ancient and Recent Agency
I recently did the Colosseo Self-Guided Tour through Ancient and Recent Agency, and I have to say, it was such a great decision. As someone who likes to explore things on my own and at my own pace, this tour was exactly what I was looking for.
The booking process was simple and smooth. Once I arrived at the Colosseum, everything was easy to access—no stress, no lines. The self-guided audio tour was fantastic; it gave me all the historical context I wanted without overwhelming me. It was super easy to follow, and I loved how I could pause and go back whenever I needed. I didn’t feel rushed, and I was able to really soak in the details of the Colosseum’s incredible history.
What really stood out to me was how well-done the audio guide was. It wasn’t just a list of facts; it made me feel like I was getting a story, one that brought the Colosseum to life in a way that was both educational and engaging. I also appreciated how flexible it was—I could spend as much time as I wanted in each area, and I never felt like I was on a tight schedule.
Overall, I would highly recommend this self-guided tour to anyone visiting the Colosseum. It’s informative, flexible, and made my visit even more enjoyable. Huge thanks to Ancient and Recent Agency for making it such a memorable experience!

Fantastic Self-Guided Tour of the Colosseum with Ancient and Recent Agency
I recently booked the Colosseo Self-Guided Tour with Ancient and Recent Agency, and I’m so glad I did! As much as I love exploring historical sites, I often find group tours a bit too rushed, so the self-guided option was perfect for me.
The whole process from booking to the actual tour was seamless. I received clear instructions on how to access the audio guide, and it was super easy to follow. The guide was packed with interesting facts about the Colosseum’s history—everything from gladiator battles to the building’s incredible engineering. What I really appreciated was how the guide allowed me to go at my own pace, pausing when I wanted to take photos or just take in the view. It felt like I was truly in control of my visit.
The Colosseum itself was even more impressive than I imagined, and having a guide that helped me understand the context and history made it even more meaningful. I didn’t feel like I was just walking through a tourist attraction; I felt like I was experiencing the past up close.
If you’re looking for a flexible, informative, and well-organized way to explore the Colosseum, I highly recommend this self-guided tour by Ancient and Recent Agency. It was a memorable experience, and I’d definitely do it again!

I recently had the chance to experience the Colosseo Self-Guided Tour with Ancient and Recent Agency, and it was absolutely worth it! As someone who enjoys taking things slow and really soaking in the history, this tour was a perfect fit for me.
The booking process was straightforward, and the instructions for accessing the audio guide were clear and easy to follow. I loved that I could go at my own pace—there’s no rush, no group to follow, just me and the amazing history of the Colosseum. The guide itself was informative but not overwhelming. I got to learn about the incredible architecture, the gladiators, and the events that took place, all while moving through the Colosseum at my own speed.
What really made the experience special was how well the audio guide was put together. It didn’t feel like just a lecture; it felt like a story unfolding as I explored. I could pause, rewind, and really take my time to fully appreciate the site without feeling like I was missing anything. The flexibility to stay in one spot longer if I wanted or move on when I was ready was a huge plus.
Overall, I highly recommend this self-guided tour if you’re looking for a more personal, relaxed way to explore the Colosseum. Huge thanks to Ancient and Recent Agency for providing such a fantastic experience!

I recently took the Colosseo Self-Guided Tour offered by Ancient and Recent Agency, and I have to say it was a perfect experience. As someone who loves to explore on my own terms, this tour was exactly what I was hoping for.
From the moment I booked, everything was easy and well-organized. The instructions to access the audio guide were simple, and the guide itself was incredibly well done. It wasn’t just a boring list of facts, but a story that brought the Colosseum’s rich history to life. I loved how the guide was structured—informative, but not overwhelming, and I could go at my own pace.
What I really appreciated was the freedom the self-guided tour gave me. I could take as much time as I wanted at each stop, which was great since there’s so much to see. I could also pause the audio to absorb everything and take photos without worrying about keeping up with a group.
The Colosseum itself is as awe-inspiring as you’d imagine, but having a guide that helped explain its history made it so much more meaningful. I felt like I was getting a deeper connection to the place, rather than just checking off a tourist site.
Overall, I couldn’t recommend this tour enough. If you want a flexible, informative, and well-paced way to explore one of Rome’s most iconic landmarks, this is definitely the way to go. Huge thanks to Ancient and Recent Agency for such a smooth and enriching experience!
