Free Museum Week in Rome in March

Italian culture ministry opens doors of state museums and archaeological sites in Rome for free during the Museum Week (Museums are free), from 5-10 March 2019.

Plus, this free museum week is preceded by a free museum Sunday on 3 March. More infos can be found on the official website, or by following the hashtags #IoVadoAlMuseo and #SettimanaDeiMusei.

Colosseum and Palatino Hill are free too

Colosseum and Palatino Hill will be free and this is a great news! But there’s a problem: lines, infinite lines! Trust us, they are so worth it, but they can be boring too. So, while you wait to access the incredible arena, you can get a special discount from our Colosseum tour in Virtual Reality.

Ancient&Recent gives you an amazing opportunity to learn, having fun!

Our Virtual Reality Experience will cost just 15 Euros (10 Euros for kids). Of course, there will be no ticket or guide included (because the sites are already free!) but it is a great way to enjoy the time before those tedious lines.

Join an innovative Colosseum Tour to explore the area like never before through the first animated and interactive 3D certified reconstruction, integrated by a narrative friendly voice and epic musical background, to explore the most important ancient monument in the world. A real moving and multisensory family experience, suitable for all ages because informative, educational and entertaining!
